Crawford is 26 going on 60. He lives and works in New Castor (his world's version of Manhattan) and embodies everything that implies. He's abrasive, surly and generally unpleasant. He smokes like a chimney and drinks like a fish. He responds to just about anything with a prickly, aggressive attitude or utter indifference. But this is not without reason. Thanks to a less than stellar past, he'd rather just be left alone. He doesn't quite know how to handle any negative emotions that aren't anger, so anything from fear to sadness will be twisted back toward the anger and rage he knows how to cope with. This coping usually involved violence.

But should you manage to get passed the massive and well protected walls he's built between himself and the rest of the world, you will find a loyal and protective friend. He may never really open up, but he'll be less angry. And should anyone cross you, they'll meet his wrath. He protects the scant few he trusts with far more ferocity than he protects himself. Above all, he'll protect his half brother. Everything he's done has been for his brother's benefit. This includes going against his step father, a senator. And taking on a self-made mob boss and self-proclaimed king of the New Castor underworld.
